Carelinks is a Canadian Registered charity with a mission to empower communities enhance their health and well-being by serving as the vital link to care, offering holistic approach that includes health promotion, education, research, training and seamless access to essential services.

Carelinks Organization is a strategic leader in the advancing community health and well being for key populations and addressing barriers to care. Our programs include:
- Mental Health support for Children, Youth and Families
- Cardiovascular disease
- Chronic Disease management
- Diabetes Education and nutrition
- Newcomer employment training and integration program
- Social prescription, linkage to care and referral program
- Youth mentorship and recreation therapy program
- Age friendly at home training program for seniors.
CLO is inviting applications/nominations for volunteer Boards of Directors appointments. The current requirement is for four (4) new Board Members for CLO
Building on over 8 years of experience, we deliver leading-edge accessibility solutions, clinical, and social services. CLO is committed to upholding the highest standards of care for all our clients. We serve the most vulnerable populations with utmost humility, respect, trauma informed care and cultural competency.
CLO continues to position itself for meaningful growth by utilizing its core competencies and expertise to find impactful ways and new channels to grow its business, delivering innovative, value-added solutions and services to advance a barrier-free society. Governing Carelinks organization is an independent, progressive, policy-governed Board of Directors; dynamic and strategic individuals with an open and continuous improvement mindset who are passionate about the work of the organization. Comprised exclusively of volunteers, Board Members are diverse in background and come from across Canada. They bring a wide variety of skills and competencies in the
areas of healthcare leadership, Clinical Practice, Social services, Finance, Governance, Fundraising and Implementation Research.
With demonstrated policy governance experience, Board Members ideally bring knowledge of issues related to healthcare, Finance, Government relations expertise, experience with private and/or family foundations, fundraising, granting institutions, and/or oversight of research due diligence.
If you are a collaborative, engaging, and inspirational business or community leader, with a commitment to our vision and mission to reduce barriers to care for vulnerable populations, we encourage you to consider a volunteer role with our Board. Board Members are required to attend four (4) virtual meetings per year.
